Privacy policy

Vintage Attic runs this website. This page explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. We follow Bahrain's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 30 of 2018).
What we collect
- When you order: the items, quantities and total, and the language you were browsing in. We don't ask for your name or address on the website — you share your contact and delivery details with us on WhatsApp.
- Your email address, if you join our newsletter, a waitlist ("Notify me") or a Vault draw.
- Sell to us: the item details and photos you send, your WhatsApp number and, if you give it, your name. These are emailed to us; the website doesn't keep a copy.
- Security records: when you submit a form, place an order or sign in, your IP address is recorded briefly to stop abuse, such as too many attempts. These records are deleted after about a day.
- On your own device: your language, currency and saved favorites are kept in your browser. Your bag isn't saved. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use it
- To reserve, confirm and deliver your orders.
- To send the emails you asked for: newsletter confirmation and letters, back-in-stock alerts, and Vault draw entries and results.
- To reply to offers sent through Sell to us.
- To keep the website secure.
We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for advertising.
Who handles it for us
- Cloudflare — runs the website and stores our database and product photos.
- Resend — sends our emails and keeps our newsletter list.
- WhatsApp (Meta) — when you message us, WhatsApp's own privacy policy applies to that conversation.
How long we keep it
- Orders: we keep order records, including any delivery details you share with us.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe — every newsletter has an unsubscribe link.
- Waitlists: until we've told you the piece is available, or the piece is removed.
- Vault entries: we keep entries, including the winner of each draw.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can withdraw your consent at any time — for example by unsubscribing. Message us on WhatsApp at +973 6361 1601 or email waliddjelailia9@gmail.com and we'll take care of it.
Changes
If we change how we handle personal information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
